If those processes become active in the future, this policy will be updated.

Property Access & Service Instructions

To provide Curbly service, we may collect property-specific information such as bin storage locations, exterior access instructions, gate information, reference photographs, and special service notes.

We use this information to locate the correct property and bins, provide authorized personnel with the instructions they need, perform requested service, and help verify that service was completed.

Access information should be made available only to authorized personnel who need it to perform or support the relevant service.

Curbly currently focuses on exterior-accessible bin locations, and our service is not intended to provide unrestricted access to a customer’s property.

Photos & Service Verification

Curbly may use photographs to:

  • Record reference placement for a property
  • Identify exterior bin storage locations
  • Verify that bins were placed out
  • Verify that bins were returned
  • Document service issues
  • Support customer-service investigations

Curbly service photos are intended to document bins and relevant exterior property areas. Operators should avoid intentionally photographing residents, children, private interior spaces, or unrelated personal activity when those subjects are not necessary to document service.

Depending on the situation, photos may be visible to the customer, authorized Curbly personnel, an assigned operator when needed, and relevant service providers when necessary to operate the platform. Photos are retained as described in Data Retention.

App, Device & Location Data

Depending on the features used, Curbly may collect:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Browser type
  • IP address
  • Diagnostics
  • Crash and error information
  • Timestamps
  • Approximate or precise location, where enabled and necessary for a feature and permitted

Where enabled and necessary for a feature, location information may be used for operator functionality such as navigation, route execution, verifying stop progress, operational and safety purposes, and route optimization. Curbly does not describe these as continuous background tracking; location is collected only where a feature is implemented, permitted, and enabled.

Operators & Authorized Personnel

  • Service address
  • Bin count and bin types
  • Bin location
  • Exterior access instructions
  • Service notes
  • Reference photo
  • Stop and service instructions

Operators should not receive unrestricted access to a customer’s full account information. Billing data, unrelated support history, and unnecessary profile information should not be exposed to an operator unless required for a legitimate operational purpose.

HOAs & Property Managers

Curbly may work with community organizations or property managers to coordinate service. Information shared with such organizations should be limited to what is appropriate for that relationship, which may include:

  • Service enrollment or status
  • Community-level service information
  • Operational issues affecting shared service

HOAs and property managers do not automatically receive personal customer information. Gate codes, private property photos, personal account details, and support communications are not provided to a community organization unless necessary for the service relationship and appropriately authorized.

Curbly payment processing is not live yet. Curbly does not currently require payment information in the present pre-launch account experience, and no payment method is stored through it.

When paid subscriptions launch, payment information may be collected and processed through a third-party payment processor. Curbly does not intend to store full payment-card information directly.

This section will be updated when payment functionality goes live.
